Carabao COM components

Carabao Language Kit is the core of all LinguaSys back-end applications. It is a multipurpose natural language kit, with applications varying from automated translation and entity extraction to Natural Language User Interfaces and sentiment mining.

Carabao's main purpose is to "understand" text and transform it - from any language in the lexical database to any other language in the lexical database. The understanding is essentially a process of converting words or morphemes into references to concepts, described in the lexical database. The lexical database is open for editing, and the end user (or a deployment team) can add languages or modify existing ones. The same tools which are used to build the language models by LinguaSys are provided to the customer together with the runtime and the lexical database.

The COM components of Carabao can be embedded in 3rd party applications, reducing complexities of multiple natural languages to traversing lists of well-structured codes. The small footprint allows attaching Carabao not only to desktop applications, but also to those running on Windows Embedded Automotive or Windows 8 Pro tablets.
