The Concept Behind TGPhoto

TGPhoto was designed to help travelers and business persons all over the world, who are constantly bombarded by foreign language signs at the
airport, in town, in taxis and almost everywhere they turn. TransGen Photo turns “foreign to me” into “now I see”. Just start the TGPhoto application on your Android device, fill as much of the screen as you can with the foreign writing, touch the shutter button in the upper right hand
column, and seconds later you can view your translation on your phone.

TG Photo Opening Screen

Click Flags button in lower right hand corner to set the source and target language for the text you are going to photograph
Take the picture.

Fill up as much of the screen as you can with the text, making sure to have the entire text inside the frame of the phone screen. Touch the camera button in the upper right corner to take the picture.
View your Translation!

The display will show you the original text as the picture was turned into writing, and the translation of that writing in the box below.

If the top box does not show the correct text, you might want to try again, with the flash (if it was not selected) and try to hold the camera very still.
